TOUIZA d'Alger

TOUIZA (تويزة) d'Alger is a volunteer association rooted in Algeria's tradition of collective solidarity. Active for over two decades, it mobilizes hundreds of volunteers for regular cleanup and beautification operations across the capital. Its key activities include: beach cleanup operations in summer (Aïn Taya, Réghaïa, Tamentfoust), neighborhood cleanup campaigns in Algiers in coordination with local municipal services, tree planting days and greening of public spaces, and awareness campaigns on waste management and environmental citizenship. The association regularly collaborates with the Environment Directorate of the Wilaya of Algiers and the Algerian Muslim Scouts (SMA).
