SIDRA — Algerian Food Bank

Sidra Algeria Association, founded in April 2011 in Algiers, is a recognized, apolitical, non-profit organization governed by Algerian legislation on associations, composed mainly of young leaders in various fields. They are all based on the principles of sharing, mutual aid and diversity. SIDRA Algeria is one of the most important youth organizations in the capital, having been designated by UNESCO in 2013. We currently have 70 active members with an average age of 20 and a database of 1,000 volunteers. Our goal is to encourage young people to participate in active citizenship through solidarity and intercultural civic projects.
